Duas & Verses from Surah Al-A’raf
26 : O Children of Adam! We have bestowed raiment upon you to cover yourselves (screen your private parts) and as an adornment, and the raiment of righteousness, that is better. Such are among the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâh, that they may remember.
31 : O children of Adam! wear your beautiful clothes at every time and place of prayer: eat and drink: but waste not by excess for Allah loves not the wasters.
33 : Say (O Muhammad SAW): The things that my Lord has indeed forbidden are: shameful deeds, whether open or secret; sins and trespasses against truth or reason; assigning of partners to Allah, for which he has given no authority; and saying things about Allah of which you have no knowledge.
34 : To every nation is a term appointed: when their term is reached not an hour can they cause delay, nor (an hour) can they advance (it in anticipation).
52 : Certainly, We have brought them a Book (the Qur’ân) which We have explained in detail with knowledge, – a guidance and a mercy to a people who believe.
89 : …………………….Our Lord! Judge between us and our people, in truth, for You are the Best of those who give judgment.”
94 : Whenever We sent a prophet to a town, We took up its people in suffering and adversity, in order that they might call in humility. 95 : Then We changed their suffering into prosperity, until they grew and multiplied, and began to say: “Our fathers (too) were touched by suffering and affluence.”…Behold! We took them to account of a sudden, while they realized not (their peril). 96 : If the people of the towns had but believed and feared Allah, We should indeed have opened out to them (all kinds of) blessings from heaven and earth; but they rejected (the truth) and We brought them to book for their misdeeds.
126 : ………………………………………… Our Lord! pour out on us patience, and cause us to die as Muslims.”
151 : Mûsâ (Moses) said: “O my Lord! Forgive me and my brother, and admit us into Your Mercy, for you are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy.”
158 : Say (O Muhammad SAW): “O mankind! Verily, I am sent to you all as the Messenger of Allâh — to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He); It is He Who gives life and causes death. So believe in Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), the Prophet who can neither read nor write (i.e. Muhammad SAW) who believes in Allâh and His Words [(this Qur’ân), the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) and also Allâh’s Word: “Be!” – and he was, i.e. ‘Īsā (Jesus) son of Maryam (Mary), A.S.], and follow him so that you may be guided.”
